Growing Instructions
The seeds have a hard seed coat that must be scarified to allow for water absorption and successful germination. Scarify with sandpaper, a nail file, or an emery board, then soak for several hours before planting 2-3 mm deep in a mixture of potting soil and sand or perlite. In optimal conditions, germination occurs within 10-14 days at 65-72°F. Transplant when seedlings grow to a few inches tall.
