Kallstroemia maxima, also known as the big caltrop, is an annual wildflower that has yellow flowers and pinnately compound leaves. It is in the Zygophyllaceae. It is native to various regions of North and South America, including parts of the southwestern United States, Mexico, Central America, and northern South America. This plant typically grows in arid or semi-arid habitats.
